BY & SY Announce HR Derby Sponsorship with Dirty South Bats

Baseball Youth & Softball Youth, the nation’s largest youth diamond sport network, is pleased to announce a sponsorship agreement with Dirty South Bats, a leading manufacturer of baseball and fast-pitch softball bats. Through the agreement, Dirty South Bats will become the presenting sponsor of Home Run Derby events at all 2018-19 Baseball Youth and Softball Youth All-American Games, maintain a strong visual, vocal and tangible presence at All-American Games events, and utilize Baseball Youth’s peerless media portfolio, including social media platforms and the quarterly Baseball Youth print magazine, to increase brand exposure and continue telling the company’s story. In addition, this agreement will add an exciting new format to each Home Run Derby whereby players will use their own bat for the first 45 seconds before switching to a Dirty South bat for the next 30 seconds, during which time points count double!

“We’re so happy to announce this dynamic partnership,” said Taylor Watson, director of marketing and media for Baseball Youth’s parent company, Athletx Sports Group. “Providing our athletes and their families with the best overall experience is our first priority, and we’re extremely proud of what we offer. By partnering with Dirty South Bats, who will supply equipment for an exciting new round to our Home Run Derby, we’re taking that experience to the next level. We can’t wait to ring in this new sponsorship with our upcoming All-American Games in Round Rock, Texas, on December 27!”

“We are excited to partner Baseball Youth to showcase our bats to some of the nation’s top youth players.” said Tony Mastandrea, owner of Dirty South Bats. “We think it’s a perfect fit for an All-American bat company to be part of the All-American Games.”
